Description: |
Devereaux Emmett - 1921.
You go from classic short to classic long when you arrive at the 13th tee. You are greeted with a wide expanse from tree-line to tree-line and a broad fairway. The prevailing wind is directly in your face, creating a real test. Don’t let the optical illusion of the cross bunkers throw you off. The left bunker is the only one reachable from the tee and the other three are beyond a creek 330 yards away. They appear to be in one line. A short drive brings the meandering creek into play on your second. The deep, flat green that is well bunkered left and right. |
|
How to Play It: |
Drive it long, avoiding the left fairway bunker and the pines on the right. A good drive results in a long iron to a deep, flat green that is well bunkered left and right. Hit two good ones. |
