Description: |
Donald Ross - 1917.
Green moved in 1957.
This straight away par 4 is not quite as simple as it looks. The fairway tilts strongly from left to right forcing your eye toward the fairway bunker and the pond. The uphill second with a mid to short iron can be from an awkward lie with the ball below your feet. The green slopes slightly from left to right and has a nice variety of curving putts |
|
How to Play It: |
The ideal drive is down the right side to avoid the hanging lie for your second shot. Aim your second to the left center of the green to account for the fade lie and the slope of the green. |
